So I met with my fortune teller-ish client/friend today. Plopped my big ole’ butt down and just looked at her. Didn’t say a word. She excitedly declares that I’m ‘more open’ than last time and wants to know what’s changed. Uh, a lot has changed in the last 6 months. We start talking about nothing and she’s explaining that October was a weird month for some celestial reason and that August was a totally shit month due to some retrograde thingie ma bobber. Well August WAS a shit month (thanks Webster) and October was good and bad. I told her about work, my 2nd job and my cruise. For some reason she sees me moving at some point in the future. Interesting as that’s always in the back of my mind, but no plans. She also says she sees a dark haired ‘outdoorsy’ guy with facial hair in my life. Huh, what do you know? Guess who’s dark haired with facial hair? At this point I tell her about TD, but just a little, and then she tells me all about him. And she was right. She was also kinda encouraging about it as long as I keep things on my own terms and don’t throw myself in head over heels right away. I told her what I had done on Halloween with the letter and she actually high fived me! Kinda funny.
She says she sees a bit of a ‘blip’ coming up in the form of, get this, ‘possibly his ex will be creating some drama’. Uh, ya’ think? She says not to worry about it as it will all work out, but heaven only knows what that means. She must have told me 15 times that TD is a good guy and then kept apologizing for repeating herself. I told her not to worry because he actually IS a good guy.
Nothing too earth shattering, but was glad to hear that she saw good things in the future for TD and I and asked that I please keep her updated. She was happy for me and says that it’s because I opened myself up to accept good things but also put limits on them that this has happened. Eh, who knows. I do believe she would tell me if she thought TD was a total douche. But she doesn’t. Nor do I.
Oh, and T minus 2.5 hours ’til I see my non-friend. 😉 Fingers crossed people!
