Monday Morons

I contemplated naming this post Monday Madness, but Morons just seems to fit much better.  As it’s Tuesday anyway, it doesn’t make much difference. 😉 So I originally had an awesome ROI on last week’s 5 Monday Morons via Match.  I had 3 responses + an unprompted wink (along with all the usual messages from old unattractive losers) to show for my efforts.  I was pretty darn proud of myself.  In hindsight, however, not much panned out.

Fanny Pack, after proclaiming his undying love for me fell in love with another.  And then when she flaked, he thought he could step back up to the plate.  Uh, sorry sweetie, that’s now how it works.  I may be hard up, but  I will never be that hard up.

Gun Range Guy, after responding immediately, backtracked to say he didnt think we were a match, yet continued to send me no less than 3 messages a day and pushed for a meeting.  Until Saturday.  When he up and disappeared.  Where is that damn box of kleenex?

The Winker, well, let’s just not even go there again.

Then there’s Red Onesie.  Supposed to meet last friday.  Not.  Supposed to meet last night.  Not.  Supposed to meet tomorrow night.  Who knows?

Needless to say, I opted out of contacting anyone yesterday.  I think it is a much better idea to make this assignment an every other week sorta thing as apparently I need a week’s reprieve in between in order to recover (and seek therapy).
